He noted that the Commission has unwavering confidence in the competence and capacity of the members to deliver on the important assignment.

Alhaji Shutti urged the Committee to carefully inspect all documents submitted by intending Hajj Tour Operators seeking licenses for the 2026 exercise, in order to ensure validity, accuracy, and full compliance with international best practices. He stated that after the screening, slots allocation should only be given to qualified and competent operators.

According to him, “You are expected to submit your recommendations to the leadership of the Commission for approval or otherwise, and produce a comprehensive report of your findings at the end of the exercise”.

He further explains the urgency of the committees task, explaining that it must be completed within a week to beat the deadline set by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for the 2026 operations.

On behalf of the Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Shuti officially inaugurates the Committee, urging members to carry out their responsibilities diligently, objectively, and in strict adherence to laid down guidelines.

He concluded with prayers for the success of their work, expressing optimism that their efforts would contribute significantly to the smooth conduct of the 2026 Hajj operations.
