Muslims are called to perform two rak’ahs after Isha and pray for relief and ease for those suffering in Gaza

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), on Tuesday called on the Muslim Ummah to beseech God Almighty for relief, the removal of distress, and the lifting of hardship from their brothers in Gaza.
They urged performing two humble units of prayer (rak‘ahs) in congregation at mosques and public squares during the depth of the night, immediately after the Isha prayer, on the upcoming Thursday night/Friday.
Al-Qassam stated in a statement, “Al-Qassam Brigades call upon the sons of the Arab and Islamic Ummah to implore God Almighty to relieve the distress and lift the hardship from their steadfast brothers in grieving Gaza. This should be done by performing two humble rak‘ahs in congregation at mosques and public squares immediately after Isha prayer, starting Thursday night toward Friday, followed by supplication again with:
‘Lā ilāha illā Allāh al-‘Aẓīm al-Ḥalīm, lā ilāha illā Allāh Rabb al-‘Arsh al-‘Aẓīm, lā ilāha illā Allāh Rabb al-Samāwāt wa Rabb al-Arḍ, wa Rabb al-‘Arsh al-Karīm.’”
The statement added: “May He, Glorified be He, hasten relief for the people of Gaza. He is the Protector and the All-Powerful. There is no strength nor power except through Him,” noting that responding to and spreading this call is considered the least form of support for the people of Gaza.
