FOMWAN Congratulates Professor Bilkisu Shinkafi on Historic Appointment as Vice Chancellor of Tazkiyah University

In a Press release signed by the National Amirah of the Nigeria’s foremost women’s organisation-Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Hajiya Sumaye Fadimatu Hamza (P.h.D) and the National PRO Hajia Hauwa Kulu Abdullahi, FOMWAN has in passionate statement, felicitate with Professor Bilikisu Shinkafi as the first Vice Chancellor of Tazkiyah University..

The press release reads:

“The National Executive Council and the entire membership of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) joyfully extend it’s heartfelt congratulations to you on your historic appointment as the first Vice Chancellor of Tazkiya University.

The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria, FOMWAN, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1985 to empower Muslim women through various social, educational, health, and economic initiatives.

It is a major umbrella body with chapters in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, aiming to support national growth and provide services to its members.

FOMWAN’s work includes promoting education and skills, providing humanitarian aid, and advocating for the rights and welfare of women and children.
