Modern displays and rare manuscripts give visitors a closer look at the Quran’s rich history.

The Quran Museum in Mecca, located in the Hira Cultural District, offers visitors a vivid look into the history and preservation of the Holy Book. It highlights how Muslims have cared for and documented the Quran from the earliest times to the present day.

The museum combines authentic Quranic heritage with modern technology, creating an engaging experience for pilgrims and tourists. Its galleries feature interactive displays, rare manuscripts, and historical copies of the Quran.

Opened last March, the museum houses some of the world’s most notable Qurans, including ancient texts and the world’s largest Quran. It also showcases a striking mosaic panel that reflects the artistic dedication of Muslims throughout history.

Situated at the foot of Mount Hira, the museum strengthens the spiritual atmosphere by linking visitors to the place where the Quranic revelation began.

It has quickly become a key stop for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and anyone interested in Islamic culture and history.

The Quran Museum is a private museum in Makkah’s Hira Cultural District that displays rare Quranic manuscripts and uses modern technology to teach about the history, preservation, and transcription of the Quran.

It features unique exhibits like the largest known copy of the Quran, displays on the evolution of calligraphy, and interactive experiences, all situated at the base of Mount Hira to provide a spiritually enriching experience.
