The Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) in Istanbul organized a large dawn prayer event at Dolmabahçe Mosque on Sunday, bringing together 1,453 young participants from all 39 districts of the city.
The youth stood together in the same prayer row, demonstrating unity and shared values. After the prayer, participants collectively recited salutations and offered additional prayers, highlighting devotion, loyalty, and spiritual commitment.
Speaking to the attendees, TÜGVA President İbrahim Beşinci said that standing together in the same row is more than just a prayer—it is a message of guidance and unity. He added, “This youth standing in this row will build a strong Türkiye of tomorrow with their faith, morality, and principled stance.”
TÜGVA Istanbul Provincial President Beytullah Çiçen highlighted the significance of the gathering, saying it represents not just a crowd, but a shared consciousness and commitment. “This event is the clearest expression of brotherhood, selflessness, and unity around a common ideal. The bond formed with youth from all corners of Istanbul is our greatest hope for the future,” he said.
The event underscores TÜGVA’s ongoing efforts to encourage young people to engage in spiritual and community activities while fostering a sense of national and religious solidarity.
