Medical vehicles and supplies delivered to support hospitals

An Iraqi religious body has sent a second aid convoy to Iran to support victims of the ongoing war, as the number of casualties continues to grow.

The convoy, dispatched on Saturday, includes 23 ambulances, trucks loaded with medical supplies, and heavy equipment to help clear damaged areas.

Relief official Sabah al-Moussawi said the support is meant to assist the Iranian people during the crisis. He added that the items will be handed over to authorities for distribution to hospitals and health centres.

Iran’s Ministry of Health said over 2,000 people have been killed and more than 26,000 injured since the conflict began in late February.

This comes after an earlier aid delivery from Al-Abbas Shrine, which sent dozens of trucks carrying large amounts of food and medical supplies to Iran earlier in the month.
