The lesson aims to teach Islamic values to English speaking expatriates and strengthen the understanding of Islam

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Centre under the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has launched a new series of English-language da’wah lessons for Muslim expatriates.

The programme is being held in three mosques located in The Pearl, Lusail, and Al Dafna, and has attracted strong participation from English-speaking Muslims living in the country.

The lessons focus on basic Islamic teachings and daily life guidance, aiming to help participants understand Islam better and strengthen their connection with Allah through proper belief and good conduct.

According to the centre’s director, Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al Marri, the programme continues after its success during Ramadan, showing a growing need for Islamic education in English among expatriate communities.

He explained that the sessions highlight important topics such as obedience to Allah, maintaining faith after Ramadan, and using time wisely to build a balanced and disciplined Muslim life.

The lessons are held at three mosques: Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani Mosque in The Pearl, Mohammed bin Hamad Al Mana Mosque in Lusail, and Ibrahim Al Khalil Mosque in Al Dafna.

Participants have welcomed the programme, saying it helps them better understand Islamic teachings in a simple and clear way that relates to their everyday lives.

The centre said the initiative is part of its wider goal to promote Islamic knowledge, bridge language barriers, and support cultural understanding among different communities.
