Pezeshkian urges diplomacy and cooperation to counter foreign influence and rebuild the nation
By Sadiq Abdulfatah
Masoud Pezeshkian has called on Muslim countries to strengthen unity, saying it is the best way to resist foreign interference and prevent external powers from exploiting divisions.
Speaking during a visit to Iran’s Justice Ministry in Tehran, he stressed that cooperation, honesty, and collective effort are key to overcoming current challenges facing the country.
Pezeshkian said war brings no real benefit and urged a balanced approach that combines firm resistance with diplomacy to reduce tensions. He added that vigilance and caution in dealing with foreign actors remain important.
His comments come after recent military tensions involving the United States and Israel, which led to exchanges of attacks in the region.
The president said the end of the conflict should mark the beginning of a new phase focused on rebuilding the country. He described this stage as a broader struggle that requires patience, unity, and active participation from citizens to address national challenges.
He also highlighted the role of guidance from Mojtaba Khamenei and the late Ali Khamenei, saying their leadership has helped strengthen decision-making and stability during difficult times.
