Al-Houthi says Yemen will stand with Iran and continue supporting Palestinians
By Sadiq Abdulfatah
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has reaffirmed his support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Palestinian people.
According to Pars today, Al-Houthi also renewed his call for unity among the Resistance Fronts, saying Ansarullah would remain committed to standing alongside Iran.
He said Zionism was targeting the Muslim world and seeking to control its people, occupy their lands and take their wealth and resources.
The Ansarullah leader said the movement would continue to support what he described as the oppressed Palestinian people and oppose Israel, which he referred to as the enemy of the Muslim world.
He also rejected the US-Israeli project known as “Greater Israel,” reaffirming what he described as Ansarullah’s firm position against it.
On Iran, al-Houthi said the movement would maintain its position on the unity of the Resistance Fronts and continue to stand with the Islamic Republic.
He also criticised Saudi Arabia over what he described as its continued blockade and escalation, accusing the Saudi government of serving Zionism.
Al-Houthi said Ansarullah was determined to respond to what he called the Saudi blockade with a “blockade for blockade” policy.
He described Saudi Arabia’s approach as an unjustifiable act of oppression and said it served Zionist interests.
