The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has successfully amended the service allocation agreement with Mashariq Al-Dhahabia, ensuring that the number of Nigerian pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj under the government quota accurately reflects 52,544 spaces.

The agreement was finalized at NAHCON’s headquarters, Hajj House, Abuja, following high-level discussions between NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, and a delegation from Mashariq Al-Dhahabia, led by its Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Hassan, who is currently visiting Nigeria.

According to Professor Saleh Usman, the amendment was made possible due to a clause in the contract that allows for adjustments, ensuring that all registered Nigerian pilgrims are accommodated. He emphasized that the decision was taken in good faith to facilitate a seamless Hajj experience.

“This agreement is designed to enhance the smooth execution of Hajj operations. We remain committed to taking every decision in the best interest of Nigerian pilgrims,” he stated.

On his part, Mr. Muhammad Hassan reaffirmed Mashariq Al-Dhahabia’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of service to Nigerian pilgrims. He assured that the company would uphold its obligations and work closely with NAHCON to ensure a successful Hajj 2025.

Both parties reiterated their dedication to making this year’s pilgrimage a hitch-free and spiritually fulfilling experience for all Nigerian pilgrims.
