Arowojobe Revolutionizes Islamic Education for Busy Professionals

Founder of iStudyIslam Institute leverages online learning and executive courses to bridge the gap between professional ambition and spiritual growth across Nigeria

By Sadiq Abdulfatah

‎The founder of iStudyIslam Institute,‎ Bashir Kareem Arowojobe  is reshaping how Muslim professionals across Nigeria and beyond access Islamic education.
‎
Launched in 2019, the Lagos-based platform is designed to provide a relevant and inspirational Islamic learning experience to busy Muslim professionals, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), and decision-makers whose schedules often clash with traditional study models.

According to a Arowojobe, at the sidelines of Hustle Africa’s bi-monthly PR Tea Conference in Ikeja, Lagos.
‎ “Many professionals wanted to learn, but their calendars were filled with meetings and responsibilities. The old system simply didn’t fit their lives. We created iStudyIslam so that knowledge can meet people where they are flexible, accessible, and relevant.”

‎The institute, which has its headquarters in Lekki, operates primarily online and offers a suite of services including Qur’an literacy, faith-based life coaching, counselling and therapy, and spiritual growth programmes. Its flagship executive Islamic course is meticulously tailored for Muslim professionals in leadership and decision-making roles.

‎Over the years, iStudyIslam has built a strong learning community and recorded notable achievements, including hosting the Muslim Entrepreneurs Summit, which featured a keynote address by Professor Abdulrazaq Aláró of the University of Ilorin.

‎The institute runs a social initiative, the Muslim Youth Helpline (MYH), through which it has provided career guidance and life strategy mentoring to more than 50 young Muslims in the past three years.
‎Looking ahead, iStudyIslam plans to establish physical study centres in Lekki, Ikoyi, and Victoria Island, with a long-term vision of scaling to a global audience.

‎Restating the institutes’s core vision, Arowojobe noted‎: “We want to turn the excuse of ‘I’m too busy’ into the opportunity of ‘I’m learning now.’ Our vision is to break the barrier between professional ambition and spiritual growth.”
