Unshakable models of Governance inspired by Islam

Government controlled by foreigners and ignoring Afghans eventually fell and disappeared

By Sadiq Abdulfatah

Throughout history, only those governments that were based on the people’s faith and Islamic values managed to rule for a long period of time. Governments backed by material power, well-equipped armies, and foreign support have never been able to overthrow governments rooted in the beliefs, convictions, and support of the Muslims.

The Afghan nation is a clear example of this historical truth. Over the past four decades, the Muslim and Mujahid people of Afghanistan resisted three global occupiers and preserved their independence and dignity through trust in God, Islamic unity, and unparalleled sacrifices. The resistance of the Afghan nation has proven that no storm or force can destroy a system or government that arises from the people’s faith and religious beliefs.

On the contrary, the dependent and puppet governments that relied on foreigners and turned their backs on the Afghan nation ultimately collapsed and were erased from the pages of history. Despite possessing wealth, power, and media, they fell due to a lack of public support and faith.

Today, Afghanistan’s Islamic system is also founded upon the same historical and spiritual foundations; it is neither a product of the East nor a creation of the West, but rather emerged from the faith of the people, the struggles, and the blood of thousands of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for independence and freedom.

It is rooted in unwavering faith and an unshakable will, a nation that has always preferred independence, honor, and religion over material interests, proving that sacrifice in the path of Islamic values is the true way to liberation and dignity.

As long as an Islamic government maintains its bond with the Muslim and Mujahid Afghan nation, considers service to religion and the people as its duty, and centers its activities on justice, Islamic brotherhood, and divine values, no foreign power or internal sedition will be able to overthrow it.

The nation and the government are like two wings of a bird; without an Islamic government, the nation becomes vulnerable to division, confusion, and instability, and without the support of the people, the government becomes rootless and fragile. This sacred coexistence endures only under faith in Allah and adherence to Islamic values.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan today stands as a clear and proud example of this bond of faith, a government that rises from the people, shaped by the sacrifices of the Mujahideen, and deeply rooted in the nation’s culture, religion, and history. Today, this system shines like a beacon in the heart of the Muslim world, a source of pride for Muslims and a model for independent and dignified governance.

As long as this unity between the nation and the Islamic government is preserved, a bright, honorable, and sustainable future awaits Afghanistan.
