Investigation ongoing to trace suspect, Military Source assures after yansakai member allegedly opens fire in Kebbi Mosque

Panic erupts amidst residents in Faransi village in Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State after a member of the civilian Joint Task Force, popularly known as Yansakai, allegedly opened fire inside a mosque.

Following a report by the security analyst Zagazola Makama via his X handle on Sunday, One of the youths in the village identified as Bawa Kiri, fell victim of the incident, leaving him with various injuries caused by gunshots. Kiri Nyako the father of the victim reported the case to the of 1 Brigade at Unashi.

According to Military sources, a tireless investigation is ongoing which amis to trace and apprehend the suspected Yansakai member behind the attack at the mosque.
