A Great Scholar and Community leader, Alhaji Ahmad Oladoke Aladesewa announced dead

The chief Imam of Owo and the Chairman of the Ondo League of Imams and Alfas, Alhaji Ahmad Oladoke Aladesewa has been announced dead on Tuesday afternoon at age 91.

The chief Imam died on Monday evening at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State. This information was disclosed by by Alhaji Kamorudeen Ishola, who is also known as one of the Muslim Leaders in the Owo Community.

According to Alhaji Ishola, The late Imam has dedicated is life to the growth of Islam in Nigeria and he was also a respected Islamic Scholar and a Great Leader in the community and discloses that the late scholar would be laid to rest in Owo, his hometown in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, by 2pm on Tuesday in accordance with Islamic rites.

The Ondo State chapter of National Council of Muslim Youth Organisations (NACOMYO), express condolences to the deceased’s family, the Owo Muslim community, and the nation at large.

According to a statement by Alhaji Abdulwaasi Yusuf the Missioner of NACOMYO, The chief Imam’s death was a big nail to the heart of many Muslims and may Almighty Allah grant him Aljannat Firdau as the Chief Imam is the number one support pillar of NACOMYO and a greatest Islamic scholars ever lived in this part of the world especially Ondo State. May Allah accept his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen.

The Muslims of Ondo State and Nigeria at large feels the loss of the Late Chief Imam and prays that Allah forgive all his shortcomings and Grant him Aljannat Firdau.
