Islamic center helps children learn the Quran and Prophetic teachings while building strong values.

The International Islamic Center for Tolerance and Peace in Brazil has launched a special educational program to teach children how to understand the Quran and study the “Forty Hadiths of Imam Nawawi.” The program, under the supervision of Abdul Hamid Mutawali, began on December 2, 2025, and will run through December and January 2026.

Evening sessions take place every Tuesday and Friday and include Quran memorization circles, Maghrib and Isha prayers in congregation, and dinner meals where parents participate. These sessions aim to create a religious and educational atmosphere that helps children connect deeply with the Quran while also involving families in the learning process.

Morning sessions are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays, combining structured lessons on Quran interpretation and the teachings of the Hadith with value-based guidance. Children also perform noon prayers and share a lunch, creating a balanced schedule that nurtures both knowledge and personal development.

The program will conclude with a special celebration to motivate participants and honor achievements, awarding prizes to children who have memorized or excelled in their studies. Through this initiative, the Center seeks to reconnect young generations with the Quran and Sunnah, promote moral values, and strengthen a sense of spiritual belonging in the wider community.
