‎The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has commiserated with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) following the death of five staff of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and two others yesterday, Monday, 29th December, 2025 in Gombe as a result of a bus accident. Four others sustained serious injuries.

‎The Islamic human rights group expressed deep sympathy over the disaster. It prayed for the bereaved families.

‎”We are deeply saddened by this ugly development. We feel the pain of the bereaved families and the agony of the leadership and members of the NUJ, especially NTA members, both in Gombe chapter and at the national level”, the statement concluded.

Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) is a Nigerian faith-based human rights organization that focuses on protecting the rights and interests of Muslims.
