The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan call on teachers to promote Islamic values and support better student development

The Islamic Emirate’s Minister of Higher Education, Neda Mohammad Nadeem, has called on professors in Sharia and Islamic Culture departments to place greater and impacting pressure on developing students’ thinking abilities and to take a more active role in guiding both their academic progress and moral character.

This remark was contained in an audio message released on Monday in which Nadeem had meeting with lecturers from the Sharia and Islamic Culture faculties at Kabul University which took place in the university’s leadership council conference hall.

He also called on teachers to promote unity among students, and to ensure that both their actions and inner values reflect Islamic teachings, and also to pay closer attention to discovering and developing students’ individual talents.

The minister stated that as an educators, you carry a major responsibility in shaping the younger generation, describing their role as a trust that must be carried out with commitment, honesty, and care.

The meeting also features discussions on improving the quality of higher education. Nadeem shared suggestions and guidance aimed at raising academic standards and supporting better student development.
