In a letter sent to Sheikh Naim Qassem the Secretary General of Hezbollah, the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has pledged the continued support of the Islamic Republic towards the resistance against the American Zionist [i.e. Israeli] enemy,”

He stated in his message that this policy is based on the path adopted by the late Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the late Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Furthermore, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said that one of the most important qualities of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was his strong and steady attitude in standing up to the biggest enemies of the Muslim world, especially the United States and Israel adding that he never gave up when facing these challenges, and his courage and determination were a key part of his character and what he is remembered for.
