‎The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has hailed the Federal High Court, Kaduna, for granting bail to the former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on Tuesday, 14th April, 2026.

‎The former governor has been in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for weeks.

‎Commenting on the development, the Executive Director of the human rights organization said, “It is long overdue, belated but we welcome Mallam El-Rufai with both arms. It is hoped that he will be allowed to attend to his family this time around. El-Rufai is a household name and a performer. We love him for who he is: a fearless, selfless leader.”
