Commends forces for defending the country during recent war and calls for continued strength

Mojtaba Khamenei has praised Iran’s army for its role in defending the country during recent conflict, marking the occasion of Army Day.

In a message, he said the army showed courage in protecting the nation’s land, waters, and sovereignty during what he described as aggression by the United States and Israel. He added that the armed forces stood firm and exposed the weakness of their opponents.

He also highlighted the strength of Iran’s military forces, including its drones and naval units, saying they are prepared to respond to any threats.

The leader noted that Army Day, observed on Farvardin 29, marks the formal establishment of the army after the Iranian Revolution, which he described as a turning point that strengthened the military’s role among the people.

He said the army moved away from the former ruling system and became more connected to the nation after the revolution.

The message also paid tribute to past commanders who served the country, including those who lost their lives in different conflicts.

He stressed the need for continued development of the army and said further steps would be taken to improve its strength and readiness.

The statement also highlighted the cooperation between the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, saying their joint efforts played a key role in recent operations.

According to the message, this coordination helped Iran carry out responses against enemy targets during the conflict.
