Mojtaba Khamenei has expressed appreciation to Sunni religious scholars and students in Hormozgan province for their support and condolences following the death of the late leader.
According to reports, the message was sent to scholars in southern Iran, thanking them for their sympathy after the killing of Ali Khamenei, as well as for their pledge of allegiance to his successor.
The announcement was made by Mohammad Abadi Zadeh, who stressed the importance of unity within the Muslim community.
He also noted that Sunni scholars in the province had condemned the attacks blamed on the United States and Israel, which reportedly led to the death of the former leader and several military figures.
The message from Iran’s leader was described as a sign of recognition for the role of religious scholars in supporting national unity and guiding society during a difficult period.
