As Iran marks its national daughters day, Iranian students and teachers have issued an open letter in seven languages, urging educators around the world to break their silence over what they describe as crimes committed by the United States and Israel against Iran.

The letter, addressed to teachers globally, says the Iranian people are standing against oppression and fighting for freedom and independence, not only for themselves but also on behalf of other oppressed groups worldwide.

It describes the ongoing conflict as a “global resistance against injustice” and says it is a struggle between right and wrong, where individuals are judged by their conscience and principles.

The writers called on the global community to “stand on the right side of history,” stressing that future generations should be able to speak freely about humanity, dignity, and freedom.

They also linked the appeal to recent military tensions involving the US and Israel, which Iran says led to heavy civilian losses, including children and damage to schoolsThe letter was released as Iran marked its National Daughters’ Day.
