The Companion, a leading association of Muslim men in business and the professions, has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the arrival of the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, urging believers to strengthen their devotion, unity, and moral values.

In a statement signed by its National Amir, Nojeem Jimoh, and Director of Public Affairs, Tunde Akanni, the group described Dhul Hijjah as one of the most spiritually significant periods in Islam and encouraged Muslims to increase prayers, charity, sacrifice, and good conduct.

The association also sent prayers and goodwill to Muslim pilgrims currently performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia, asking Allah to accept their worship and supplications.

According to the statement, the lessons of Dhul Hijjah are especially important at a time when many societies are facing insecurity, inequality, leadership failures, and growing divisions.

The Companion stressed that leadership in government, religious circles, families, and institutions should be built on sincerity, justice, sacrifice, and service to humanity.

The group further called on Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence and national unity, saying the country’s diversity should be seen as a blessing and source of strength rather than division.

It urged citizens to reject hatred and division while promoting tolerance, understanding, and social harmony for the progress of the nation.

The association also encouraged Muslims to maximize the sacred days through worship, kindness, and renewed commitment to Islamic ethics and values.
