Saudi Arabia has begun distributing copies of the Holy Qur’an in 80 languages to departing Hajj pilgrims as they leave the Kingdom after completing the pilgrimage.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance said the distribution started at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, ensuring pilgrims receive their copies before boarding return flights.

The initiative is part of King Salman’s gift of the Holy Qur’an, with 1.9 million copies produced by the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an in Madinah.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the translated editions allow pilgrims to read and understand the Qur’an in their own languages after returning home.

The ministry said distribution will continue round the clock across airports, land borders, and seaports in the coming days as pilgrims depart.

Officials said the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to spreading the message of the Qur’an globally and easing services for guests of Allah.

According to official figures, more than 1.7 million Muslims performed Hajj this year, with the majority arriving from outside Saudi Arabia.
