Oba Ismail Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase Ipo in Kwara State, has called on Muslims not to dismiss the notion that serving Allah dims their prospects in life. Speaking during a courtesy visit from the Kwara State chapter of The Muslim Congress (TMC), the monarch said dedication to Dawah and worship should motivate personal achievement and positive contributions to society.

Describing the visit as a blessing, Oba Alebiosu said opportunities to advance Islam are privileges that demonstrate faith and progress can go hand in hand. He rejected the notion that religious service confines one to modest accomplishments, stressing that the highest privilege is the chance to worship Allah.

The Olupo pledged his full support for TMC and promised to take part in its programmes when his schedule allows. He added that he personally attends events that promote Islam and peaceful coexistence because of the spiritual rewards they bring.

Chief Imam Shaykh Taofeek Atoloye affirmed the local clergy’s backing for TMC, saying the Ajase Ipo Muslim community is eager to partner with the organisation to advance the deen.

Ustadh Hussein Suleiman Onitira, the Congress’ Education Officer, explained that the palace visit was part of efforts to spread the message of Allah and His Messenger (SAW) and to brief the traditional institution about reviving TMC activities in Ajase Ipo.

Dr Suleiman Saka, Kwara State Wali of TMC, thanked the monarch for receiving the delegation and reiterated the organisation’s commitment to strengthening Islamic propagation across the state.

Imam Bashir Olalekan Ariyo said the Congress will continue to empower and unite the Muslim Ummah through sound Islamic knowledge and a programme of weekly, monthly, and annual activities aimed at advancing the cause of Islam.
