Commander says Iran will not bow to pressure as forces pledge to defend national sovereignty

The Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, has vowed that the country’s armed forces will deliver what he described as an “unforgettable lesson” in response to what he called US aggression against Iran.
Vahidi made the remarks while addressing the strategic message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
According to him, Iran will not tie its future to what he described as the promises of an enemy with a history of hostility, betrayal and deception against the Iranian nation.
The IRGC commander said the United States had once again chosen the path of aggression and violation, stressing that Iran would respond with strength, determination, wisdom and power.
He also reaffirmed the importance of preserving national unity, saying the IRGC, alongside other branches of the armed forces, remains committed to protecting the country’s unity, strengthening internal cohesion and preventing any attempt to undermine the Islamic Republic.
