Minaret University, Ikirun, will today, Thursday, April 30, 2026, hold its maiden matriculation ceremony.
In a statement signed by the Registrar of the university, Olu-Lawal, the ceremony marks the formal induction of its pioneer students into the academic community under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdur-Rahman Oladele Abdullah.

The event will also feature the inauguration of the Parents Consultative Assembly (PCA) by the University Chancellor, Barrister Azeez Folorunso Alatoye.
The Parents Consultative Assembly is expected to serve as an important channel for dialogue, mutual understanding, and constructive engagement between the university and parents.

Members of the Governing Council, principal officers, staff, parents, community leaders, stakeholders in the education sector, and other distinguished guests are expected to attend the ceremony.
The maiden matriculation signifies Minaret University’s commitment to academic excellence, moral discipline, and responsible citizenship.
The university offers admission into courses under the Faculty of Science and Computing, including Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Cyber Security.
It also offers programmes under the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences such as Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Members of the public and the media are expected at the event.
