Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has praised the Iranian people for what it described as strong national unity and continued support for the country during recent tensions.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the IRGC thanked citizens for taking part in large rallies held across the country, including gatherings during the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam.
The statement also referred to the nationwide “Janfada-e-Iran” campaign, in which millions reportedly signed up to show readiness to defend the country.
Addressing the public, the IRGC said Iran and its people would never surrender to enemies, adding that no power could weaken the nation’s determination.
The Corps described the recent rallies as historic and said public demonstrations continued throughout the 40-day conflict involving the United States and Israel.
It said the nationwide participation reflected loyalty to Iran’s Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and showed what it called a rare display of unity and patriotism.
The IRGC also said rallies held on the birth anniversary of Imam Reza highlighted public awareness of the country’s challenges and support during a sensitive period.
According to the statement, the public response had helped counter psychological and media pressure from opponents, and would remain part of the country’s national memory.
The Corps said continued public support strengthens Iran’s armed forces and also backs national policies, including the country’s new management approach in the Strait of Hormuz.
